Maman, the gorgeous New York City-based French bakery, is coming to Delray Beach.
The restaurant will open in the ever-expanding Sundy Village complex, located at the intersection of Atlantic Avenue and Swinton Avenue. This ambitious project will offer multiple food and beverage options, valet service, outdoor dining, and subterranean parking all within stone’s throw of the beach. Set around the existing and historic Sundy House property, it will feature 129.000 gross square feet of mixed-use space when completed, some time at the end of 2026 or beginning of 2027.
When it opens, Maman will offer coffee, pastries, and dishes inspired by the South of France — including collaborative items with Martha Stewart.
Elisa Marshall and Benjamin Sormonte opened the first Maman (French for mother) in New York’s SoHo neighborhood. The cafe was a hit, with people waiting in lines for a taste of its croissants, sandwiches, and its nutty chocolate chip cookies — an Oprah’s “favorite thing” in 2017. Fans of the brand can also purchase some of its best sellers online for shipping, or cater Maman for events.
Today, Maman is more than a place to gather with friends — it’s a lifestyle brand with more than three dozen locations throughout the U.S. and Canada.
