Gotham Burger Social Club is expanding to a new location in Williamsburg, first reported by Greenpointers.

The new location is opening on 216 Grand Street, announced at the tail end of their residency in Greenpoint’s Threes Brewing, which started in late 2023. This is the second permanent Gotham Burger location for owner Mike Puma.

Gotham Burger was born as a pop-up and raised in the Lower East Side, on 131 Essex Street. Its Essex Street space opened in the Spring of 2023, shaped like a diner but clad in dark woods and leather upholstery of a Western restaurant. Its mixed aesthetic is also reflected in its menu, offering twists on New York classics, like its chopped cheese taco. Diners can even get an egg cream. However, its premier item is its Gotham Smash, a smash burger that can be stacked up to a triple.

While Gotham Burger in Essex served a few beers and wines, its Williamsburg location will be able to serve liquor, offering a handful of classic cocktails.

According to Puma, Gotham Burger Social Club in Williamsburg doesn’t have an opening date yet.
