A popular New York-based cafe and bakery is continuing its expansion into the DFW. Maman first arrived in Texas late last year and will be deepening its presence with an East Dallas storefront later this year, reports CultureMap Dallas.

Maman will be bringing a Parisian flair to the 6465 Mockingbird Lane, #316 storefront that previously housed Palmer’s Hot Chicken. The space is actively being renovated and signage is up, which is certainly cause in and of itself for local enthusiasm. While a precise opening date is not yet available, Maman ownership expects to be customer-ready by early autumn.

Maman launched in New York in 2014. The chain has steadily been growing its presence, primarily in the Northeast. It has been making a push into the DFW relatively recently, opening its first Dallas-area location in November of 2025. In addition to the East Dallas storefront, Mamans are being developed in Frisco and Casa Linda Plaza.
