Cru Hospitality, the culinary force behind restaurants like Bouzy and Cru Cellars, is preparing to launch two new restaurants in Tampa’s Sparkman Wharf plaza. According to coverage published this week by Tampa Bay Business & Wealth, Cru Hospitality Group has signed an agreement with Strategic Property Partners to open Smith’s Provisions and The Back Bar, two concepts “developed specifically for Sparkman Wharf.”

The coverage says Smith’s Provisions will serve favorites from American cuisine (think sandwiches and burgers), “designed for quick service in an open-air setting,” while The Back Bar will be a full-service cocktail and wine bar.

“At Sparkman Wharf, we are intentional about creating space for unique concepts that can debut and grow in an environment designed for long-term success,” Strategic Property Partners CEO Josh Taube says in the coverage.

Opening at Sparkman Wharf, Smith’s Provisions and Back Bar will join restaurants like BurgerFi, Jotoro, Lighthaus Beer Garden, Noble Rice, and Shortwave Coffee.
