As Dunkin’ continues to expand its footprint in Northeast Florida, paperwork has been submitted for a new location in Oakleaf Plantation, a community located in Clay and Duval Counties.
According to reporting by the Jacksonville Daily Record, the project under review consists of a “freestanding 1,380-square-foot store with a drive-thru and 12 parking spaces.”
What Now confirmed the news with franchisee Andy Patel, who is also behind the upcoming West Jacksonville Dunkin’, set to open at 11410 Normandy Blvd.
“Oakleaf Plantation has been steadily filling in as builders and investors assemble land for new retail and light industrial projects,” said coverage by Hoodline about the planned Oakleaf Plantation location. “Recent sales and proposals in the area have drawn national chains eager to tap into the swelling local population.”
The new location, which would open at the intersection of East Canaveral Trace and Resilience Way, would be one of several chains located in the area, including McDonald’s, Pizza Hut, and PJ’s Coffee.
