One of Texas’s busiest hospitality groups is revolutionizing the DFW dining experience. Mad Concepts Group has been developing a series of “restaurant parks”, where two restaurants share an outdoor space intended to foster community and camaraderie. Benbrook locals will be able to enjoy Mad’s vision later this year, when Tacos & Avocados and Jakes Burgers debut their shared space in the neighborhood, reports CultureMap Fort Worth.
Each restaurant will occupy its own 4-5,000 square foot space at 9300 Benbrook Drive. Visitors needn’t worry that the shared nature of the park will force either concept to be smaller versions of themselves. Jakes and Tacos & Avocados will feature full bars and patio seating.
The eateries will be opening in time for visitors to enjoy the full extent of what the 1.5 acre park has to offer. Jakes and Tacos & Avocados are on track to open this spring. Mad Concepts Group hopes the unique dining experience will offer guests more than just great food; Mad Concepts Group co-founder Courtney Lindley explains “this project is about creating a place where the community can come together, whether that’s over a meal, in the backyard, or during everyday moments that matter.”
The food, however, will be top-notch. Jakes Burgers offers high-quality interpretations of comfort food. Of course the titular dish is on the menu, alongside hand cut fries and beer. As readers might guess, Tacos & Avocados offers what Mad Concepts refers to as “Mex-Tex”; expect delicious Mexican cuisine served with Texas flare.
