Fancy Q Sushi & Thai, a popular sushi spot found at 5615 Florida Ave S in Lakeland, is preparing to expand to a new location. Opening at 2300 Forest Lake Dr, Suite 105, in Davenport, Sushi & Thai will be serving up its beloved sushi rolls and Thai favorites this spring.
“Our new restaurant is coming soon!” says the Fancy Q Sushi & Thai Davenport Facebook page. “It’s a combination of Japanese and Thai cuisine. It’s a brand new, upgraded version of Fancy Q, and we’re excited to open it to everyone.”
The menu in Lakeland features sushi rolls like the Rock N Roll (shrimp tempura, krab, cheese, fish eggs, cucumber), the Dynamite (salmon, krab, cheese, deep fried and spicy hot sauce on top), and the Jaguar (eel, avocado, deep fried). There are also dishes like the Sushi Lunch Bento Box (Your choice of 2 rolls and a California roll), Yellow Curry Chicken (onion, bell pepper, zucchini, mushrooms, snow peas, asparagus, fresh basil in coconut milk), and Pad Thai Shrimp.
Opening in the Foreset Lake Drive location, at the intersection with US Highway 27, Fancy Q Sushi & Thai Davenport will join Pizza Hut, adding some variety to the area.
