With locations at 4919 96th St in Palmetto and at 1312 Apollo Beach Blvd, Suite O, in Apollo Beach, American Honey Creamery and Coffee Co. is a “family owned, locally sourced, lovingly crafted” local ice cream and coffee spot.
“American Honey Creamery and Coffee Company is a place where old traditions breathe again—where the sweetness of family, community, and small-town spirit infuses everything we create,” says the brand’s website. “Under the care of Colleen Bianucci, our creamery works hand-in-hand with local artisans and vendors to keep those traditions alive, honoring the belief that when neighbors support neighbors, everyone flourishes.”
A bit of a changeup is in store for the Palmetto location soon. This week, What Now came across plan review documents that show American Honey Creamery opening at 5015 Moccasin Wallow Road. It’s a space only one street over from the ice cream cafe’s current home—literally, or almost literally, a hop, skip, and jump away.
What Now confirmed news of the move with a representative of the restaurant on Friday. The representative said the relocation was expected to take place in about a month’s time.
In other words, Palmetto need not worry: American Honey is moving, you’ll still be able to enjoy ice cream flavors like Coffee Oreo, American Honey, and Banana Brulee; a range of classic coffee drinks; and Bakery & Breakfast items like the Egg and Cheese Sandwich.
