Nearly three years ago, in April 2023, What Now reported on the then-upcoming debut of the Greyson, a new sports bar concept founded by Tom Halkidis and Russell Matthes. At the time, it was already known that The Greyson had its eye on expansion.

“We are starting a company, not just a single business,” Russell Matthes then told What Now.

Sure enough, after launching in Palmetto, The Greyson has since expanded into another location in Lakewood Ranch, and now it’s at work on its third. A new outpost of the Greyson will open at 6162 Paseo Al Mar Blvd, Suite 103, in Apollo Beach.

There, you’ll be able to enjoy an elevated but affordable menu featuring wings, ribs, salads, Artisan Flatbreads, and handhelds like the Pulled Pork Sandwich (Smoked pulled pork, onion tanglers, slaw, BBQ sauce, rustic baguette), and the Greyson Grass Fed Burger.

“The Greyson is a unique upscale/casual family-friendly sports restaurant/bar,” says a description on the bar’s Facebook page. “Our contemporary industrial look and feel will provide a memorable valued entertainment experience for all of our guests.”
