Grand Prairie diners are getting a new restaurant certain to satisfy the whole family. Bubba’s 33 has filed papers to bring its “scratch-made food for all” to the neighborhood, with work set to commence later this year.
The restaurant will be opening on the southeast corner of SEQ State Highway 161 & Warrior Trail. Paperwork filed with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation shows that Bubba’s 33 will occupy a newly erected building that spans 7,105 square feet.
Work will begin on the eatery this spring-May 18 to be precise. The project is set to wrap by November 9 of this year, suggesting Bubba’s 33 may be ready to serve Grand Prairie diners this autumn.
Bubba’s 33-named after the year Prohibition was repealed-was founded in 2013. The concept strives to create a fun, welcoming atmosphere that brings customers back. Of course, the delicious food doesn’t hurt. The company website explains: “We make everything in-house from scratch, right down to the sauces on our wings and dressings on our salads. Our pizza dough is hand-stretched, topped with fresh ingredients, and stone-baked. We go big and bold with our burgers, from our half-pound juicy Angus burgers to our double stacked signature beef and bacon grind burgers.”
