San Francisco Health Inspection Report: March 9 to 13, 2026

Following routine inspections, three San Francisco eateries corrected violations and had their permits reinstated.

The San Francisco health department conducted several health inspections across the area. The department carries out regular inspections to ensure restaurants comply with safety regulations.

Three San Francisco Restaurants Pass Reinspection

After routine inspections conducted by the health department at The Willows, Fishmandu Sushi, and Lers Ros 16th Street, the restaurants were asked to shut down. However, following reinspection, all three were cleared.

The Willows

During a March 10 reinspection, The Willows, a gastropub, had its Permit to Operate reinstated and was allowed to reopen after addressing all major health violations. The health department observed no live cockroaches and found that the facility was clean and food-contact surfaces were being sanitized.

The eatery was cited for several violations during a routine inspection on March 9, including severe cockroach infestation. Other violations noted were heavy liquid accumulation on the floor and cracks and chipping paint along the main cookline in the kitchen. More details are available here.

Fishmandu Sushi

Fishmandu Sushi underwent a reinspection, where the San Francisco health department reinstated the Permit to Operate. All violations related to the imminent public health hazards were corrected, and a new placard has been issued.

Known for its seafood and sushi, the restaurant was recommended to shut down during its routine check on March 9, where it was cited for vermin infestation. Other violations also included the presence of pest control chemicals and damaged refrigeration door gaskets in the facility. Details of the report are available here.

Lers Ros 16th Street

Thai restaurant Lers Ros 16th Street had its Permit to Operate reinstated following a reinspection on March 13. The facility was allowed to reopen after the restaurant addressed violations related to major health hazards. While the facility was reported to have pest control services, a second reinspection will be conducted at a later date to verify compliance with remaining violations.

During a routine inspection on March 10, Lers Ros was cited for a cockroach infestation and ordered to shut down. The eatery was also flagged for improper food storage, incorrect food temperature, and sanitation issues. More details are available here.
