What Now reported last month on plans for TC4 & Co., the Austin-based restaurant group behind restaurants like Mighty Fine Burgers, Fries, and Shakes and Tony C’s Coal Fired Pizza, to open a new outpost of its Cousin Louie’s concept in Lakeway after shuttering the Lakeway outpost of its League Kitchen & Tavern.
As it happens, that’s not all that TC4 & Co. has been up to! According to coverage published this week by Community Impact, ground was broken today to make way for two new TC4 & Co. restaurant locations: The League Kitchen & Tavern and Tony C’s Pizza & Beer Garden will open in tandem at 1411 I-35 in Georgetown.
After getting erosion control and grading work underway, construction has officially begun and is expected to continue through the rest of the year, the coverage says.
It’s a match made in heaven: the sports bar (represented by perennial favorites like the burger and steak) meets the pizza joint—and in both cases, beer lovers win.
The League’s menu features handhelds like the Society Burger and the Southern Burger (sugar-cured bacon, cheddar, Tabasco, shoestring onions, Brooklyn BBQ sauce), together with Main Attractions like Breakfast Anytime (3 eggs your way, buttermilk biscuit and jalapeño gravy, sugar-cured bacon, hash browns) and the Hand-Cut Angus Ribeye.
Tony C’s, meanwhile, serves up Specialty Pizzas like the Eggplant (Parmesan crusted eggplant, pizza sauce, basil, ricotta), the Truffle Shuffle (fresh mozzarella, gorgonzola, fontina, parmesan, mushrooms, truffle oil), and the Prosciutto & Goat Cheese (roasted garlic, prosciutto, arugula, fresh mozzarella, goat cheese, olive oil), along with other sandwiches, appetizers, and even lasagna.
No opening date has been announced yet for the two restaurants.
