A premier private golf club will tee off in Egg Harbor Township this summer.

Fire Golf Club, founded by friends and health care professionals Adam Saad and Miro Kesic, will open at 2907 Fire Rd. The pair will also partner with the former general manager of Galloway National Golf Club, a well-known South Jersey course.

“I’m a plastic surgeon and Miro has adjacent businesses to healthcare with different product supplies. It’s our first foray into this general type of business, but we both really enjoy golf,” Saad told What Now Philadelphia.

Saad, who also owns a CrossFit gym, was looking for a new location when he came across two warehouse buildings. He opened the gym in one and, after considering options for the other, he and Kesic decided to turn their passion for golf into Fire Golf Club.

The name reflects its location, and the logo features a phoenix with the letters “F” and “G” to represent Fire Golf.

The club will feature eight GolfZon simulators, seven of which include moving platforms for a more realistic experience.

“They actually have technology that if you land a ball on the side of a hill, the platform will articulate to make it seem like you’re on the side of the hill,” Saad said.

The eighth simulator will serve as a dedicated teaching room for individual lessons.

“It has a different version of GolfZon, which is called GDR Max. It’s more teaching focused of how your club comes through,” he said.

The club will also feature a 30-to 40-foot putting green equipped with PuttView technology.

“It basically has different breaks of a putt—uphill putts or right-to-left breaks—and has laser guidance to show you where to hit the putt. I think we have the largest one on the East Coast,” Saad said.

Golfers can bring their own clubs or rent them on site, and club fitting services will also be available.

“If you’re serious about your clubs, typically what you’ll do is, you’ll go to a place, and you’ll try a bunch of different ones out on a simulator, and you’ll see different data points. Then, you’ll select your clubs based on the desired data points. We’re going to be able to do that,” Saad said.

Membership at Fire Golf Club is organized into tiers. Options include a junior pass for those under 21, single and family passes, a corporate pass, a six-month pass and a Shoobie pass, valid from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Founding Members receive exclusive perks, including private lounge access and additional benefits beyond regular membership.

When not on the course, golfers can relax at a 24-foot bar with TVs.

“We’ll have standard golf drinks like a Transfusion [vodka, grape juice, lime juice, and ginger] and a John Daly [vodka, lemonade, and iced tea]. We’ll also have several specialty cocktails and beers on tap,” he said.

Fire Golf Club won’t serve food initially, but may partner with local vendors in the future.

Saad said he’s looking forward to offering a new experience.

“I’m most excited about bringing something unique to the area. We live in Atlantic City, so there’s a lot of stuff with the casinos, but outside the casinos, there’s not a lot of higher-end facilities where you can go, relax, and have a community. I’m excited for that,” he said.

Fire Golf Club aims to open in June, just in time for the U.S. Open. Visit the website and follow along on Instagram and Facebook for the latest updates.
