Tigawok, a fast-casual restaurant specializing in Chinese-inspired mini bowls and wok-fired dishes, is getting ready to expand with two new locations in Orange County, including sites in Chino Hills and Lake Forest.

While an exact opening timeline has not yet been announced, both Orange County sites are listed as “coming soon” on the company’s website. Tigawok currently operates locations in Los Angeles, Burbank, and Irvine, and the expansion signals continued growth across Southern California. Customers can expect a customizable bowl concept with a variety of rotating entrees and base options.

Tigawok has built its concept around quick-service dining with a focus on flexibility and variety. Its “mini bowls” format allows customers to mix and match multiple entrees with rice or noodle bases, creating a personalized meal. The brand emphasizes an evolving menu, with both signature items and seasonal selections that rotate periodically.

The company already has a presence in Orange County with its Irvine location on Culver Drive, which operates daily and offers takeout service. Adding locations in Chino Hills and Lake Forest would expand Tigawok’s reach further into suburban communities, where demand for fast-casual dining continues to grow. These areas provide a mix of residential density and retail development that aligns with the brand’s model.

Menu offerings include orange peel chicken, kung pao chicken, mapo tofu, and wagyu curry, along with sides like chow mein and fried rice. Customers can choose between two or three entree bowls, combining different proteins and flavors in a single order. The menu also includes smaller items like pork buns and soup dumplings, along with vegetarian-friendly options such as garlic eggplant and Brussels sprouts.

Tigawok’s approach focuses on offering a wide range of flavors without overwhelming customers, with most dishes prepared fresh in a streamlined kitchen setup. The concept blends traditional Chinese dishes with modern fast-casual service, aiming to provide a consistent and efficient dining experience across all locations.
