A new snack spot is heading to Nashville, according to a recent permit filing. Joni Floyd plans to open My Goodies Snack Bar at 8 Hart St., teasing it on Instagram as “your new favorite snack spot in Cameron Trimble.” The space was formerly home to Butter, Eggs, & Bakin.
The 575-square-foot spot will offer gourmet popcorn with different flavors, hot dogs, nachos and glazed nuts.
Floyd has been looking to open a shop for a long time. A fourth-generation resident of the area, she seized the opportunity to open the shop in the building that her family has owned since the 1960s. She is targeting a May opening in the space.
“It’s something I’ve been trying to do for the last 20 years and I have the opportunity to do it, so I’m going forward with it,” Floyd told What Now Nashville. “I’m excited to get it going.”
