An up-and-coming DFW retail development is getting a taste of America’s favorite donuts. Dunkin’ has filed paperwork to open a location in Plano’s Renner Wyngate Plaza, with work projected to begin in early summer.

Dunkin’ will be frying its donuts and brewing its signature java at 3411 Renner Road and is set to be the anchor of the new shopping center. Paperwork filed with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation pertaining to the location shows that the beloved concept will be occupying a 1,800 square foot space-but only after relatively extensive renovations. The work is described as a “new tenant finish out space in a newly constructed vacant building shell, work includes Mechanical, Plumbing & Electrical work. Construction of non load bearing interior partitions, new floor/wall finishes, millwork.”

The dates included on TDLR paperwork are estimates and not intended to be accepted as absolute. However, should all go according to plan, work will begin on the new Dunkin’ storefront on June 1 and should wrap by September 14. These projections suggest Plano may be able to enjoy a fresh donut this fall.
