Shark Club Sports Bar & Grill is expanding its Texas footprint with a new location in Northlake. The restaurant will open on Friday, August 7, at the Children’s Health StarCenter Multisport complex. The Northlake restaurant will mark the Canadian brand’s second U.S. location following its Plano debut.
Shark Club Lands in Northlake for Second U.S. Location
Shark Club will open at 13850 Chadwick Parkway inside the Children’s Health StarCenter Multisport complex. The 5,000-square-foot area will feature a stadium-style viewing experience, a vast food and beverage selection, and spaces built for both game days and everyday gatherings.
The Northlake restaurant will officially open with a ribbon-cutting ceremony hosted by the Metroport Chamber of Commerce beginning at 4 p.m. Guests, city officials, and local leaders are expected to attend the event and explore the new venue during the dinner and Happy Hour.
The opening follows Shark Club’s U.S. expansion following its first location in Plano. The Children’s Health StarCenter Multisport complex is a Dallas Stars-affiliated sports destination. The facility hosts youth athletics, leagues, and community programming, creating a natural setting for a sports-focused restaurant.
Tom Gaglardi, owner of the Dallas Stars and CEO of Northland Properties, said, “Our goal was to create a place where families, teams and fans can connect, celebrate and build traditions of their own. North Texas remains an important growth market for Shark Club, and we’re excited to continue building our presence here and across the U.S.”
Inside the Sports Bar

Shark Club was established in Vancouver, British Columbia, in 1993. It has become a high-end and energetic sports-viewing experience. The concept is designed for sports fans, fantasy league enthusiasts, and families looking for a casual dining experience.
The Northlake restaurant will feature 37 televisions throughout the space, creating a stadium-like environment for watching live sporting events. There will be an outdoor patio overlooking the pickleball courts, where more screens help fans stay engaged with the games while enjoying outdoor dining.
What to Expect at the Northlake Shark Club
The menu builds on the offerings that have made the Plano location popular. Diners can explore shareable appetizers, burgers, handhelds, entrees, and a full range of beverages. The Northlake restaurant will also feature several local specials in addition to its menu items.
Late-night food and drinks will be available, along with Happy Hour specials Monday through Friday from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. and again from 10 p.m. until close.
Shark Club continues its growth in the United States with its second location in Texas. The new restaurant will serve residents coming to enjoy the massive sports complex.
