Wings Korean Chicken has been serving up the good eats in an upscale North Shore Tahoe community since its inception and is now embarking on opening a restaurant in the Apache Plaza in Spring Valley. According to a Clark County permit, Wings Korean Chicken is expected to open at 5105 S Fort Apache Rd, Ste D105, this spring.
“After receiving strong support and positive customer feedback at our existing locations in Northern Nevada, we felt Las Vegas was the perfect next step for the brand. We saw an opportunity to bring a unique Korean fried chicken experience to a fast-growing and diverse food scene,” Wings Korean Chicken owner, Ted Kim (also known as Woony), said in an interview with What Now Las Vegas.
“We spent significant time researching areas that aligned with our target customer base and growth vision. We wanted a location that offered strong visibility, accessibility, and a vibrant surrounding community.”
Kim, an Army veteran and Korean native, founded Wings Korean Chicken and quickly grew its following. The brand made it on Yelp’s Top 20 list in 2025.
“Wings Korean Chicken is a modern Korean fried chicken restaurant specializing in crispy chicken, bold flavors, and a variety of signature sauces inspired by Korean cuisine. The brand focuses on providing a modern and approachable dining experience with Korean-style wings, tenders, sandwiches, and rice plates,” Kim said via email.
“We hope to bring great food, friendly service, and a fresh dining experience to the community. We also want to create a welcoming place where customers can enjoy quality meals with friends and family.”
Menu highlights include the Korean-style crispy wings, chicken tenders, and chicken sandwiches paired with a variety of signature sauces. Popular flavors include K-sauce (sweet and spicy), soy garlic, and other bold Korean-inspired flavors.
Wings Korean Chicken is planning a grand opening and promotional events for the local community. Keep your eyes on their website and social media pages for the latest.
“We truly appreciate the support we’ve received so far and are excited to introduce our brand to Las Vegas,” Kim said.
“We look forward to becoming part of the local community.”
