A bakery company that has been around for 25 years has expansion plans for the east side neighborhood.
Denver-based Trompeau Bakery is opening a third location this year at 3239 E 2nd Avenue, now listing it on their website. This is just a short drive from the Cherry Creek Shopping Center mall. Owner Beth Ginsberg told What Now Denver she is hoping to introduce the business sometime in the fall.
Trompeau Bakery debuted in 2001 close to the University of Denver campus. Now, Ginsberg has locations at 2950 S Broadway in Englewood and at 934 16th Street downtown. This marks the company’s third location in the area.
“Our journey began with a simple goal–to bring the warmth, aroma and tradition of true French baking to Colorado,” says the description on their website.
Like other locations, the new bakery will serve many baked goods, bread, sandwiches, salads and even ice cream. Breads include sourdough, rosemary, ciabatta and garlic loaf. Other sweets are served such as cookies and cake slices.
The baked goods will be available at the intersection of E 2nd Avenue and Adams Street, right across from StretchLab fitness center. This is only a couple blocks from the Cherry Creek Shopping Center mall. Cherry Creek Grill and Organic Squeeze juice bar are also close by on the south side of E 2nd Avenue.
