The Stand is planned to open in 267 El Camino Real, Suite A, according to filings submitted to the Department of Environmental Health and Quality. Vice President Zachary Wishengrad confirmed to What Now San Diego that the new location is expected to open during the first week of August.
The Stand has continued to expand across Southern California under the leadership of CEO Murray Wishengrad. The Encinitas restaurant will mark the chain’s third location in San Diego County, joining Carmel Mountain Ranch and another one set to open in Mission Valley later this summer. The company now operates in more than 20 locations across the country as it continues growing its legacy.
This place is known for serving classic American food with a more modern feel, offering gourmet burgers, sandwiches, fresh salads, hot dogs, fries, shakes, and a solid craft beer selection. Locals can expect another convenient option for casual dining, quality ingredients, and a laid-back atmosphere in the area.
As the company prepares for opening day, The Stand is also looking to hire new staff for its upcoming locations, according to its job listing website.
