The Stand is planned to open in 267 El Camino Real, Suite A, according to filings submitted to the Department of Environmental Health and Quality. Vice President Zachary Wishengrad confirmed the address with What Now San Diego, but an exact opening date has yet to be determined. While the Encinitas location is expected to open later this year, the company is focused on the opening in Mission Valley Mall in mid-August.

The Stand has continued to expand across Southern California under the leadership of CEO Murray Wishengrad. The Encinitas restaurant will mark the chain’s fourth location in San Diego County, joining Carmel Mountain Ranch, Santee, and the soon to open location in the Mission Valley Mall. The company now operates 22 locations across the country as it continues growing its legacy.

The Stand is known for serving classic American food with a modern twist, offering gourmet burgers, bowls, sandwiches, fresh salads, hot dogs, fries, shakes, and a solid selection of craft beer and wine. Like the Carmel Mountain Ranch and new Mission Valley location, this Encinitas location will also include a full service bar with creatively crafted cocktails. Locals can expect another convenient option in the area for casual dining, quality ingredients, value, and a laid-back atmosphere.

As the company prepares for opening day, The Stand will be looking to hire new staff for its upcoming locations, according to its job listing website.
