A new Palm Berries location is preparing to open at 9325 JW Clay Blvd., Suite 211, near Charlotte’s university area, the franchise owner told WhatNow Charlotte during a recent interview. The health-focused concept is currently targeting a mid-summer debut.
According to the franchise owner, the upcoming restaurant will mark his third Palm Berries location. He said the area stood out because of the strong mix of students, residents, and fitness-focused customers nearby.
“We wanted to bring something healthy closer to the university area,” the franchise owner said. “There’s a big community there, and we felt Palm Berries would be a really good fit.”
The concept is known for its acai bowls, smoothies, and fruit-forward menu offerings. The franchise owner said one of the company’s goals has been to create a menu broad enough to appeal to a wide range of customers.
“We pretty much have something for everyone,” the franchise owner said.
He added that Palm Berries places a strong emphasis on speed, hospitality, and freshness, particularly as the company continues expanding throughout the Charlotte market.
“We focus on great customer service, quick service, and healthy food,” the franchise owner said.
He noted that the restaurant prepares fresh-cut fruit daily and works with local vendors whenever seasonal availability allows.
“We cut our fruit fresh every single morning,” the franchise owner said.
The owner also pointed to the Protein Bowl as one of the location’s expected standout offerings, particularly among gym-goers and customers looking for higher-protein meal options.
Further opening details are expected to be announced closer to launch.
