Tequileros Taqueria recently announced the debut of a new Fullerton restaurant through an Instagram post, marking another milestone in the brand’s expansion in California. The new outpost will be located at 2720 Nutwood Ave in Fullerton.
Founded in 2021 by owner Edgar Gomez as a single taco truck in Lodi, Tequileros has quickly evolved into one of California’s fastest-growing Mexican street food concepts, expanding to multiple trucks and brick-and-mortar locations across the state. The brand now operates locations stretching from Northern to Southern California, including the Sacramento area, Fontana, and now Fullerton.
Known for its social media presence and colorful presentation, Tequileros has built a strong following around its menu of quesabirria tacos, burritos, loaded fries, tortas, nachos, quesadillas, and street tacos filled with meats such as carne asada, birria, al pastor, chicken, and shrimp.
The concept has become especially popular among younger fans because of its vibrant aesthetics in store interiors, neon signage, and “Instagram-ready” atmosphere.
In previous interviews, owner Edgar Gomez emphasized that the brand’s success goes beyond aesthetics.
