Wingstop is working on opening another Greater Houston region storefront. According to a recently filed permit, the new Wingstop is expected to open in the W. Lake Village at 12230 W. Lake Houston Pkwy, Suite 165.

The permit also details that construction on the new Wingstop is slated to start in mid-July and wrap up by mid-September. If all goes well with permitting and the $250,000 construction project, the W. Lake Village Wingstop should open by this fall. Construction on the 1,352 square-foot space includes demolition as required, new walls, floors, ceiling finishes, and all new equipment.

At the helm of the opening is franchisee group, the GSR Group, which is run by Rahul Agrawal. Agrawal was listed as the tenant of the new franchise location. What Now Houston reached out to Agrawal, but did not hear back by the time of this publication.

“We’re not in the wing business. We’re in the flavor business. It’s been our mission to serve the world flavor since we first opened shop in ’94, and we’re just getting started,” the Wingstop website reads.

While there are a little more than 50 Wingstop locations in Houston, Texas has the highest concentration of Wingstop locations in the United States, with more than 450 stores. Wingstop surpassed 3,000 restaurants worldwide late last year and is continuing to grow.

The brand is known for its variety of wings, but also serves a host of sides, desserts, and more.

What Now Houston also reached out to Wingstop’s Senior Director of Domestic Development, Cindy Savich, but did not hear back by the time of this publication.

Wingstop is anticipated to open in the W. Lake Village at 12230 W. Lake Houston Pkwy, Suite 165, by this fall.
