From the team behind For The Record, The Lucky Spot, a new neighborhood bar from Highfield Hospitality, is officially open in North Beach. Located at 1431 Stockton Street, The Lucky Spot is designed to be an easygoing gathering place rooted in genuine hospitality and quality drinks.

The Lucky Spot marks the second concept from owner Barry John Walsh, a Future Bars alum, following the success of For The Record in the Marina. While the two concepts share a hospitality-first philosophy, The Lucky Spot takes on a more neighborhood-driven identity, offering a space equally suited for catching a game over a cold beer, meeting friends for cocktails or settling in for a casual night out in North Beach.

Backed by an experienced bar team and an approachable yet detail-oriented beverage program, The Lucky Spot blends the familiarity of a classic local hangout with the energy and polish of a modern cocktail bar. The cocktail program at The Lucky Spot is designed to feel approachable, playful and neighborhood-driven, pairing familiar formats with elevated ingredients and unexpected flavor combinations. Signature cocktails include the “Orange You Glad,” made with Ketel One Peach & Orange, vanilla, and coconut, alongside the “Nights on Broadway,” a spirit-forward mix of Scotch, rye, banana, and walnut inspired by the energy of North Beach nightlife. Guests can also expect classics like Espresso Martinis and Gold Rushes, plus easy-drinking beers on draft and in cans, creating a menu that feels equally suited for casual afternoons, late-night rounds and everything in between.

The space itself pays tribute to San Francisco culture, with decor and design elements inspired by the city’s neighborhoods, sports history, music and local character. Vintage-inspired touches and familiar references throughout the bar create an atmosphere that feels both nostalgic and unmistakably local.

“At its core, The Lucky Spot is about creating the kind of place people genuinely want to come back to,” said Walsh in a statement. “We wanted it to feel comfortable, welcoming, and rooted in authentic hospitality, somewhere that works whether you’re stopping in for one drink or spending the whole night here.”

The Lucky Spot is now open at 1431 Stockton Street in North Beach. Hours are Monday through Thursday from 4 p.m. to 12 a.m., Friday from 4 p.m. to 2 a.m., Saturday from 12 p.m. to 2 a.m. and Sunday from 12 p.m. to 12 a.m. For more information, visit www.theluckyspotsf.com.
