58 Degrees & Holding Co. was established in 2004 in Sacramento’s Handle District. Over the years, it became a popular destination for wine enthusiasts and diners. After a change in ownership in 2017, the restaurant continued to build its reputation for an extensive wine program.

The wine program includes both widely known labels and rare selections. The restaurant attracted both casual wine enthusiasts and serious collectors. Its welcoming atmosphere and hospitality helped build a loyal customer base.

As a longtime staple, 58 Degrees featured indoor and outdoor seating. It hosted casual gatherings as well as special events. Staff were trained to guide patrons through wine pairings, cocktails, and menu recommendations.

Guests used to enjoy shareable plates, seasonal dishes, artisan pizzas, burgers, sandwiches, fresh salads, and seafood offerings. The menu also featured charcuterie boards and pasta dishes. Appetizers included calamari and Brussels sprouts.

The closing of 58 Degrees & Holding Co. brings an end to one of Midtown Sacramento’s longstanding wine and dining destinations.
