Brew Bird Creative Cafe, the Sacramento-based concept that blends specialty coffee with paint-your-own pottery, is expanding to Granite Bay with a new location at 5550 Douglas Blvd, Suite D-11, according to the Business Journal.  Andrew Martin, the general manager, told What Now Sacramento the location is targeting an end-of-June opening, though no official date has been confirmed.

The concept is straightforward: guests can walk in, order a coffee, and choose a ceramic piece like a mug, vase, plate, or bowl to paint right at their table. All supplies are provided, and once finished, the shop fires the piece in the kiln so customers can return about two weeks later to pick up their finished work.

This is a perfect idea for a date or for spending the afternoon with friends. The original Sacramento location, which opened at the beginning of 2026, has already been drawing packed crowds every weekend, suggesting strong demand for the format in the region.

For Granite Bay, a suburban community known for its family-friendly character and growing dining scene, the arrival of Brew Bird offers something genuinely different. A place to slow down, make something, and leave with more than just a coffee cup.

“We’re excited to offer a place where people can come and express their creative side while also getting their coffee. We’re excited to see the community out in Granite Bay.” Andrew Martin said to What Now Sacramento.
