A Philadelphia restaurateur could be expanding his portfolio with a new concept.
Avram Hornik, founder of Philadelphia-based FCM Hospitality and Events, which operates bars, restaurants and seasonal pop-ups, is eyeing a space at The Belgravia at 1811 Chestnut St., according to The Philadelphia Business Journal.
The outlet reported a liquor license registered under “18CHEST11 LLC” is tied to the group and covers the first floor of the property.
The application is pending before the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board, a search by What Now Philadelphia confirmed.
FCM Hospitality and Events operates 14 concepts in the city, along with Lola’s Garden in Suburban Square in Ardmore.
Several of his venues operate seasonally, including the outdoor Rittenhouse bar Walnut Garden and waterfront spots Morgan’s Pier and Liberty Point along the Delaware River. Others cater to the nightlife scene, such as Concourse Dance Bar, billed as “Philly’s underground adult playground,” and Club 624, located on the second floor of Rosy’s Taco Bar East.
What Now Philadelphia reached out to Hornik regarding the new project. This article may be updated. Stay tuned!
