The Bitter B was anticipated to open in Downtown LV! According to a City of Las Vegas permit, the clothing brand had its sights on opening inside the Fergusons Downtown at 1028 Fremont St. Reps for the center tell What Now Las Vegas,“…we can confidently say that there are no plans of Bitter B’s opening at Fergusons Downtown,” despite the permits.
What Now Las Vegas reached out to owner Melanie Long to learn more about the brand and the upcoming opening, but did not hear back by the time of publication.
“The Bitter B’s Guide was born from my experiences with my own divorce. Being launched into a whole new world of online dating and situationships, I decided to wrote a book specifically on divorce, called The Bitter B’s Guide to Divorce. This great idea, however, wasn’t wide enough to cover all the topics I wanted to speak on and thus the BBG website was created in 2022,” the Bitter B.’s website reads.
“The BBG has gone retail, and we now sell a multitude of snarky, smart-ass apparel and accessories for those who want the whole world to know they are officially members of The Bitter B Society.”
The store offers a host of labeled hoodies, sweatshirts, and more.
Long is pretty active on social media, where she also shares her blog posts and travels.
The Bitter B would have been in good company at Fergusons Downtown, which is known to inspire the community to shop local.
“Here at Fergusons Downtown, there is something for everyone! From workshops, coffee lovers, shopaholics, tourists, vintage connoisseurs, conscious consumers, the next-door botanist, to lovers of all things essential, I think you get the point right?” the Fergusons Downtown website reads.
“So come down, support local, shop small, sit in the grass, and run into our wonderful local makers!”
