SalonCentric is heading to South Lamar. According to public filings, the national distributor of professional salon products will occupy space at 4477 S. Lamar Blvd. inside Westgate Center, covering approximately 3,050 square feet. Work is set to begin June 3 and wrap by July 3. What Now Austin reached out to SalonCentric representatives to inquire about an opening timeline, but did not receive an answer by press time.
SalonCentric is a division of L’Oréal USA, and the country’s premier national distributor of salon products, with more than 600 stores nationwide. The retailer carries over 120 brands across hair, skin, nails, and barbering, including Redken, Moroccanoil, Olaplex, K18, Pureology, Bumble and bumble, among others. The stores are designed for licensed beauty professionals: hair stylists, barbers, estheticians, and nail technicians, offering access to professional-grade products, education events, and brand demos.
The Westgate Center location will add to SalonCentric’s existing Austin footprint, which includes stores on South Capital of Texas Highway and Research Boulevard. Westgate Center is already home to several beauty-related businesses, including Beauty Division, Salon Lofts, Mister 512, and Great Clips, placing SalonCentric within a well-established hub for beauty professionals.
