Known as “the world’s largest retailer of officially licensed and branded headwear and fashion-forward apparel,” Lids is an athletic headwear store with locations all around the country. And according to recent coverage by the Jacksonville Business Journal, the one at St. Johns Town Center is getting a sister location: the Lids spinoff concept Locker Room by Lids will open a new location there.

Unlike the original Lids line, which focuses (in keeping with its name) largely on headwear, Locker Room by Lids is a specialty store featuring lots more officially licensed sports apparel and memorabilia.

Opening at St. Johns Town Center, Locker Room by Lids would join apparel brands like Abercrombie & Fitch, Buckle, and Express, plus—of course—the Lids store that’s already there.

“Lids is the leader and #1 destination for hats, gear, and everything that moves you, making it the perfect shop for fans to find official sports hats, merchandise and gear,” says the Lids website. “Represent your team, your town, and your style with a snapback, adjustable, fitted hat or beanie from thousands of college and pro teams. Browse the very latest sports jerseys and t-shirts for the best teams out there. Lids has officially licensed professional and college sports team apparel and hats featuring the hottest brands and trends. Shop online or visit one of our hundreds of stores across the country.”
