Golfers at all levels are welcome into the upcoming facility.

The Back Nine Golf is expanding in Southeast Michigan, with the announcement of a new location in the works for 3227 Washtenaw Avenue, Suite D. For the opening date, the team is aiming for sometime in the fall.

“We’ve been building The Back Nine Ann Arbor for a full year. We aimed to open last fall. It took longer than we wanted, and we’re now on track to open this fall, right as peak indoor golf season hits Michigan. Worth the wait,” says a recent post from The Back Nine Golf Ann Arbor on their Facebook page.

The concept is known for their 24/7 access, with simulators catered to every level of golfing. Locations also have tournaments to compete against friends, and rooms can host multiple players. The company has grown to over 300 simulators nationwide.

Melissa Gratzinger, a local of Ann Arbor, is the owner and franchisee of the location along with her husband Adam Allen. She is also the owner of Ann Arbor Counseling Associates, an organization offering mental health counseling. When contacted, Gratzinger was not available for comment.

The golf facility is joining the shopping plaza with Barnes & Noble and Whole Foods Market. A Panera Bread is also at the building. The plaza is accessible from Washtenaw Avenue, and there is also an entrance on Huron Parkway.

More information on The Back Nine Golf coming to Ann Arbor can be found on their website.
