A sandwich shop that has become an international sensation is coming to the heart of South Beach.

The Lincoln Road District has just announced that All’Antico Vinaio, the famed Florentine sandwich brand known for its oversized sandwiches made on Tuscan flatbread (schiacciata), will open a location at  647 Lincoln Road. The famed sandwich shop will open some time in 2026, though a more targeted date has not been announced.

The new restaurant will occupy a 1,793-square-foot space and mark the company’s first location in Florida.

Founded in Florence, Italy, in 1989 by the Mazzanti family, All’Antico Vinaio has grown from a single local sandwich shop into a global brand with locations in cities including Milan, Turin, Rome, New York, Las Vegas, and Los Angeles.

The shop offers freshly baked schiacciata bread filled with premium Italian meats, cheeses, spreads and vegetables, creating sandwiches that draw long lines and have their own social media fan base. All’Antico Vinaio has earned a reputation as one of Italy’s most popular sandwich shops, for its authentic recipes and fast-casual service.
