Gather Cafe and Supper Club, the intimate dining concept founded by chef Sarah Fragoso, is preparing to open a new location at 196 Cohasset Road, Suite 150, in Chico. The new space occupies a restaurant property in Chico’s Garden Villa commercial center and will provide Gather with a more permanent home as the concept grows.
The reservation-only multi-course concept offers experiences built around seasonal ingredients and local producers. Gather first launched in 2023 as a supper club offering guests an immersive dining experience rather than a traditional restaurant. According to the company’s website, menus are crafted intuitively and change regularly, with an emphasis on storytelling through food and fostering meaningful connections around the table.
On its website, Gather is described as an extension of Sara Fragoso’s lifelong passion for cooking and community, and that her goal is to offer guests more than just dinner, creating experiences that celebrate local food and authentic connection.
While an opening date for the new location has not yet been announced, Gather’s existing concept has earned a devoted following for its curated dinners and farm-to-table approach. Reservations for events are currently managed through the company’s website.
