Club Champion, the Illinois-based golf retailer that bills itself as the world’s No. 1 club fitter, builder, and retailer, is opening a new location in El Dorado Hills at Market Place at Town Center, filling 2,467 square feet next to Chipotle Mexican Grill in the Nugget Market, according to leasing materials from Gallelli Real Estate. The new store will be Club Champion’s second in the Sacramento area, joining a Roseville location that has been open since 2019.
Club Champion sets itself apart from a typical golf shop by focusing almost entirely on the custom fitting experience. Customers work one-on-one with certified master fitters who use launch monitors, swing analysis technology, and an inventory of more than 50,000 club head and shaft combinations to build a set of clubs tailored to the exact needs of each golfer’s swing. The company has built a national reputation among both amateur and serious golfers who want equipment that actually matches how they play, rather than off-the-shelf sets that may or may not suit their game.
