A queer-led bar and social club is coming to the North Side neighborhood.
Everywhere Social Club will now open in Edgewater at 5525 N Broadway this summer, per a report from Block Club Chicago. This follows plans for the rooftop bar space in Uptown at 5050 N Broadway being scrapped. Co-owner Zach Walz told What Now Chicago the team just signed the lease and are hoping to open this August.
Pasteur had their last day of service on June 8, and was known as an upscale Vietnamese concept. The restaurant had been open since 1985, and the Everywhere Social Club team had been eying the space for a while. Soon, the space will serve non-alcoholic drinks and host fun networking events.
“Elevate your mind and body at our hot AF social club and listening lounge in Edgewater, Chicago,” says the description on their website.
In April, the team planned on opening at the rooftop in Uptown by the summer. It was a retail space that looked like a prime location for a coffee shop with DJ nights. The decision change for finding the new space has not been revealed.
Everywhere Social Club is coming to the east side of N Broadway, close to the Chicago Empowerment Center. This is near the intersection of N Ridge and W Bryn Mawr avenues, and the Bryn Mawr Red Line station. Burke’s Public House is one of the closest bars nearby.
The team will be continuing to provide updates on their Instagram page or website as it gets closer to the opening.
