According to a filing with the California Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control, a concept called Sabor y Ole’ Fusion is planning to open at 109 S. Glassell Street in Orange. The application requests an on-sale beer and wine license for the restaurant, signaling plans for a full-service dining concept in the city’s historic downtown district, taking over Tabu Shabu’s location.
While details about the menu have not yet been announced, the restaurant’s name, “Sabor y Ole’,” suggests a concept blending Spanish and Latin-inspired flavors. Guests may expect a menu influenced by the culinary traditions of Spain and Latin America.
The space is located in the heart of Old Towne Orange, one of Orange County’s most popular dining districts, where it will join a diverse mix of independent restaurants, cafés and bars. Known for its walkable streets, historic architecture and vibrant food scene, the neighborhood continues to attract new hospitality concepts looking to serve both local residents and visitors exploring the area’s shops and entertainment venues.
