Story Behind the Restaurant

Chickadee is owned and operated by New England-based chef John daSilva. The independent restaurant is known for serving fresh, seasonal dishes and offering a welcoming dining experience.

It has built a strong connection with the community by sourcing ingredients from local farmers and small businesses. The restaurant also offers a cocktail program. Chickadee was also a semifinalist for the James Beard Foundation Awards in 2025.

As the final days of closure approach, the Chickadee team expresses gratitude and hopes to celebrate its journey with the community.
