Kokoro Tokyo Mazesoba (also known as Menya Kokoro) is planning its Nevada debut. According to a Clark County permit, the new ramen eatery is expected to open in the Paradise neighborhood within The Collective at 3900 Paradise Rd, Ste B.
What Now Las Vegas briefly spoke with the owner and founder, Chef Takuma Ishikawa, fondly known as “Hiro.” Hiro confirmed the opening but was unable to share further details by the time of this publication. However, he did explain that the process of opening is underway.
“Fascinated by Mazesoba, which originated in Nagoya, Takuma Ishikawa, founder of KOKORO (now CEO), opened his first shop in January 2014 in Ookayama, Ota-ku, Tokyo, with the desire to make the then little-known Mazesoba available to Tokyo residents,” the Kokoro Tokoyo Mazesoba website reads.
“The first shop was said to be in a difficult location for business, far from the nearest station (Ookayama Station), where many ramen stores had opened and disappeared, but it quickly established itself as a thriving shop thanks to its friendly customer service and outstanding products.”
