Dirty Couch Brewing is relocating to the Ballard Brewery District, where it will open a new taproom at 1110 NW 50th St., the former home of Wheelie Pop Brewing, according to an announcement shared by the brewery on Instagram.

The Seattle craft brewery said it expects to welcome customers to the new location in early August, with an official opening date to be announced in the coming weeks.

Founded in Magnolia, Dirty Couch Brewing specializes in barrel-aged sour and wild ales inspired by classic European brewing traditions and West Coast experimentation. Many of its beers spend months or even years aging in wine or whiskey barrels before release.

Among its offerings are fruit-forward sour ales such as Donut Return, Inflection Bourbon Cherry and Poached Pear.

The new Ballard taproom will continue to welcome families and dogs, offering indoor seating and a patio. For updates on the Ballard taproom and its official opening date, follow Dirty Couch Brewing on Instagram.
