Aapka Spa at 14701 NE 20th St. in Bellevue has a new owner and will reopen as Elisha Chauhan Salon & Spa. Cosmetologist Elisha Chauhan recently purchased the salon. She told What Now Seattle that she expects to reopen in the first week of November.

“I want to bring together wellness in hair care through the salon. My vision is to give clients long-term hair color or smoothing benefits while keeping minimal exposure to harsh products,” Chauhan said.

She also plans to expand the salon’s services and grow its team. Appointments will open soon.

The current Aapka Spa website lists threading, body waxing, facials, makeup, women’s haircuts, and massage. Chauhan’s booking page lists color services, haircuts, treatments, makeup, heat styling, and training. She has not said which services from either business will be available in Bellevue after the transition.

The purchase brings Chauhan back to the city where she began her cosmetology career. She attended Evergreen Beauty College in Bellevue, rented her first salon booth there, and later established her existing business in Bothell.

Chauhan said the Bothell location, inside Phenix Salon Suites at 22627 Bothell Everett Highway, will remain open. She plans to divide her schedule between Bothell and Bellevue, giving clients a choice between the two locations.
