Zara Nail Bar is among the latest tenants announced for Destination at Gateway, a 165-acre mixed-use development under construction near the State Route 24 and Signal Butte Road interchange in Mesa, according to the Phoenix Business Journal.
The nail salon is expected to join Walmart, 7 Brew, Take 5 Oil Change, Taco Bell and PAC Dental at the retail center. While Walmart is expected to open in the fourth quarter of 2026, the adjacent retail spaces, including Zara Nail Bar, are anticipated to open in mid-2027.
Founded by Ivy Tran, Zara Nail Bar opened its first location at Vineyard Towne Center in Queen Creek. What began with Tran’s years of experience as a nail technician has since grown into a luxury salon brand with multiple locations.
The salons offer manicures, pedicures, nail enhancements, waxing and eyelash extensions. Signature offerings include CBD-infused, jelly, volcano and 24K champagne spa pedicures, along with acrylic, Gel-X and builder gel nail options.
Developed by Scottsdale-based Diversified Partners on behalf of the Berge family, Destination at Gateway will include approximately 500,000 square feet of retail space, alongside a 100-acre auto mall. The retail portion is currently about 75% committed, according to the developer.
