850 Degrees, a Toronto pizzeria known for its stone-fired pizzas cooked at 850°F, is getting ready to open a second location in Toronto at 2197 Bloor St. W.
The company’s second location is set to open in Bloor West Village in late summer 2026, according to the restaurant’s website and a recent announcement shared on Instagram. The new restaurant will bring the same menu and concept as the existing Etobicoke location, which has operated since 2014. Customers can expect stone-fired pizzas, gluten-free options, pasta, bruschetta, antipasto, Caprese salad, and other menu items.
850 Degrees first opened in Etobicoke’s Long Branch neighborhood in 2014 and has built a following among residents over the past 12 years. The restaurant takes its name from the temperature of its oven, where pizzas are cooked at 850°F for about 120 seconds. The company uses a 130-year-old dough recipe from Giffoni Valle Piana, Italy, along with Canadian ingredients, including mozzarella from Prince Edward County and meats from the Belaga family in Southwestern Ontario.
The new space will be located along Bloor Street West, where the company says it plans to offer the same neighborhood-focused approach as its original location. While an exact opening date has yet to be announced, the restaurant is currently sharing updates ahead of the planned summer opening.
The menu at the new location will feature many of the same items available at the Long Branch restaurant, including signature pizzas, pasta dishes, salads, and starters. Popular offerings include stone-fired pizzas such as the Long Branch, Canuck, Vancouver, and Bloor by the Park, along with dishes like Penne alla Vodka, Antipasto, and Caprese Salad. Gluten-free crusts and Toronto-made vegan cheese will also be available.
The restaurant was founded to create a neighborhood pizzeria focused on quality ingredients, traditional techniques, and community involvement. Since opening, 850 Degrees has continued to introduce new monthly pizza and pasta specials while maintaining its focus on locally sourced ingredients and Italian-inspired recipes.
“We’re super excited to announce that our second 850 Degrees location will be opening late this summer,” according to the recent announcement. “So we thought we’d share with you how it’s going to look from the outside. We’re proud to be joining another great neighborhood and bringing our stone-baked pizza, Canadian ingredients, and warm hospitality to Bloor West Village. We can’t wait to welcome you through the doors.”
