Versailles is continuing its expansion at Miami International Airport.

The popular Cuban cafe recently filed permit applications with the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation to open a cafe at Miami International Airport (2100 NW 42nd Avenue). The new cafe will be located at Terminal D-7, giving travelers yet another opportunity to enjoy one of Miami’s most iconic brands before their flights. An opening date has not been announced.

The new Versailles, located at Terminal D-7, Second Floor, Miami International Airport, will be operated by Global Miami, a joint venture of Global Concessions Inc. that manages food and beverage operations at the airport. The addition further strengthens Versailles’ presence at MIA while expanding the airport’s lineup of locally recognized dining concepts.

Travelers can expect many of the restaurant’s signature offerings, including Cuban coffee, café con leche, cortaditos, Cuban sandwiches, croquetas, empanadas, and an assortment of fresh pastries. The fast-casual format is designed to give passengers an authentic taste of Miami, whether they’re grabbing a quick cafecito or a meal before boarding.

Founded in 1971 by Felipe Valls Sr., Versailles has become a cultural landmark in Miami’s Little Havana neighborhood and is widely regarded as one of the country’s best-known Cuban restaurants. Today, the Valls family continues to operate the brand through V&E Restaurant Group, which has expanded the Versailles name beyond its flagship restaurant with cafés and airport locations.
