Subcity Sports Lounge is preparing to open at 2939 N. 16th St. in Phoenix. Owner Sharon Clement told What Now Phoenix that the team does not expect to open before October, placing the debut in late 2026.

The restaurant will take over the former Atlantis Food & Drinks space. A recent liquor license application offers an early look at the 2,618-square-foot layout. Plans show booth seating along one side of the restaurant, an open dining area, a bar with counter seating, a kitchen, and a patio with several tables.

The team is designing the space as a place to watch sports, grab food, and spend time with friends. Details about the menu and programming have not yet been released.

An exact opening date and operating hours have not been announced. Follow Subcity Sports Lounge on Instagram for updates as the team prepares the space for the grand opening.
