Blue Zebra Lounge is planned for 322 E. Camelback Road in Phoenix, the former home of Copper & Sage at Uptown Plaza. A restaurant liquor license application for the concept was recently filed with the Arizona Department of Liquor Licenses and Control.

The filing lists Allen Shumway as the sole member and manager of Blue Zebra Lounge LLC. Shumway is also an owner of LeDu Thai, a downtown Phoenix restaurant specializing in southern Thai cuisine.

Although details about the concept remain limited, the application provides an early look at the layout. The submitted floor plan shows an indoor dining area, two bars, and patio seating. An opening date has not been announced.

The property previously housed Copper & Sage, a Southern-inspired restaurant that closed in 2025 without publicly sharing a reason.

What Now Phoenix reached out to Blue Zebra Lounge for more information and will update this article as additional details become available.
