Lower Manhattan’s dining scene is set to expand with the arrival of a new Italian restaurant.
Levanto, operated by Jacopo Borgalli, will debut at 149 Grand St. The restaurant will occupy roughly 2,450 square feet in the four-story mixed-use building between Lafayette and Crosby streets, according to business filings.
The full-service Italian eatery will offer seating for 45 guests in its main dining room, along with an intimate four-seat bar.
“Oh no! Another Italian spot…” the restaurant teases on Instagram.
An official opening date has not been announced. Once open, Levanto plans to operate from 10 a.m. to midnight Sunday through Thursday and from 10 a.m. to 12:30 a.m. Friday and Saturday.
