Aioli Gourmet Burgers is working toward reopening its restaurant at 10652 N. 32nd St. in Phoenix after an overnight fire forced the business to temporarily close in early July.

Owner Kyle Hollenbeck told What Now Phoenix that the team is still assessing what comes next. The timeline will depend on the insurance process and how quickly restoration work can be completed, but the hope is to reopen before the end of the year.

In an Instagram post announcing the closure, Aioli Gourmet Burgers said everyone was safe and thanked the firefighters, police officers, and other first responders who arrived at the restaurant.

Hollenbeck and chef Tommy D’Ambrosio, lifelong friends who grew up in the Phoenix area, started Aioli Gourmet Burgers with a single food truck. The business later expanded into catering, additional trucks, and the North Phoenix restaurant in the neighborhood where the two grew up.

The restaurant serves burgers, salads, shakes, appetizers, and other casual fare. Its food truck and catering services remain available during the closure, which comes as the restaurant approaches a major milestone.

“Unfortunately, we might miss our 10-year anniversary of the restaurant, which would be in October,” Hollenbeck said.

The team will continue posting updates on Instagram as the insurance and restoration process moves forward. Follow Aioli Gourmet Burgers for the latest on its return.
