Boston Pizza is continuing to expand across Canada. The brand is planning a new location in Dryden, Ontario, at a development along Government Street, according to recent reporting by Retail Insider. The spot is currently under construction.
The pizza and sports bar franchise, which launched in Edmonton, Alberta, in 1964, has grown to more than 300 locations across Canada. The brand has a strong presence in the Toronto area but has only four locations in northwest Ontario, including locations in Kenora, Fort Frances and Thunder Bay.
The menu features pasta, pizza, bowls, sandwiches, salads, burgers and entrees such as chicken parmesan and New York strip steak.
In May, Boston Pizza announced plans to bring live music to locations across the country. The live music campaign is running through the end of the summer.
In addition to Dryden, new locations are planned for Revelstoke, British Columbia, and The Pas, Manitoba.
