Maker Pizza, founded by celebrity chef Matty Matheson (of “The Bear” and his cooking show “Munchies”) and his business partner Shlomo Buchler, will open in late August at 181 City Centre Drive in Mississauga, marking its fifth location, according to its website.

The brand launched in 2015 with a location on Cameron Street and continued to expand in subsequent years. The Mississauga location will join four existing Maker Pizza shops: Cameron Street, Bayview Avenue and Carlaw Avenue in Toronto, as well as Bathurst Street in Thornhill.

The pizza shop advertises on its website that it makes pizza “the way it was made to be.” The shop sells pizza by the slice or the pie, featuring specialty options such as Siena Margherita, Napoli Dynamite, Dr. Pepperoni and Tropic Thunder.

The shop also offers dips including creamy garlic, dill ranch and spicy creamy garlic. Other menu items include a variety of wings and garlic fingers.
